Steve Zechmeister PE, LEED AP
Mr. Zechmeister provides a wide variety of Mechanical Engineering support within IEA’s Engineering division. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota and has over 18 years of experience in engineering/project management related to major construction projects. He is a LEED accredited professional. Some of the areas in which he provides engineering support are:
- Commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Construction project management
- Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) consulting utilizing AutoDesk FMDesktop
- Sustainable design solutions and consulting for LEED certification
- HVAC-related design and drafting
- Expertise includes AutoDesk AutoCAD, FMDesktop, Inventor, and Trane Trace software
