HVAC Commissioning
IEA specializes in contracting and consulting for independent third party testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, climate control and smoke control systems.

Since 1996, we have successfully completed work on commissioning projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million in mechanical/electrical/plumbing/controls construction costs.

Recommissioning
"Tune up" your building's existing mechanical systems.  When built, your building's systems and equipment were new and in peak condition.  As the building ages and personnel change, key equipment may be running less efficiently than in the past.  You could be losing money to unintended inefficiencies.

A recommissioning study includes a thorough review of the current conditions of existing mechanical/electrical systems.  IEA's engineers typically recommend owners consider annual, semiannual or seasonal retesting of major central systems, i.e. chilled water generation and distribution, boilers, heat exchangers and associated distribution systems and large air handling units.
