Due Diligence
It is good business practice to identify and resolve any mold-related or water damage issues issues prior to property transfer.  IEA can provide a basic assessment of the facility to document any evidence of moisture and/or fungal growth.  In addition, IEA offers several cost-effective sampling strategies that can be added to the basic assessment:

  • Tease tape samples to confirm visible fungal growth.
  • Fungal bulk samples to determine the extent of fungal growth.
  • Assessment of the HVAC system.

Proactive IAQ Management
IEA developed a process to help building owners proactively manage indoor air quality concerns.  We have a complement of qualified staff to conduct site visits, collect appropriate air quality data and note any visible mold/moisture concerns.  Using a computerized system, "red tag" reports can be generated highlighting any problems noted during the inspection.  A comprehensive final report is also provided.
